Sharon Murray Reed, age 60, of Millcreek Township, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012, at Saint Vincent Health Center. Born in Erie on May 12, 1952, she was a daughter of the late William and Ruth (Rust) Murray. A 1970 graduate of McDowell High School, she attended the Ray-Vogue Design School in Chicago, and was the owner of Sharon Murray Interiors. She was a long-time member of the Irish Cultural Society, and enjoyed boating, golfing, camping and playing cards. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a husband, Dale E. Reed, and a sister, Jo Ann Murray Causgrove. Survivors include her husband, John F. Zill, a daughter, Meghan Carrick DeBauche, her husband Jeremy, and their children, Sophia, Madelyn and Isabelle, of Naperville, Ill.; a son, J.P. Carrick, his partner, Barbie Brochey, and children, Carson, Logan, Cameron, Briana and Chase, of Erie; a sister, Mary Murray Rennels, of Bolingbrook, Ill.; two brothers, William J. Murray, his wife Carolee, of Springfield, Ill., and Donald V. Murray, of Erie; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Boulevard, and may attend a prayer service there Thursday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Peace Church at 10 o'clock.
