Stanley F. Bowersox, Sr., 68, of Masury, Ohio, died Wednesday morning, June 25, 2014, at Sharon Regional Health System, Sharon, Pa.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 7:30 p.m., at St. George Roman Catholic Church, 5145 Peach Street, Erie, Pa.

Stanley was born on May 13, 1946, in Erie, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Melvin and Cecelia (Parks) Bowersox.

He is survived by his children, Stanley F. (Dawn Jacobs) Bowersox, Jr. of Burghill, Ohio, Alex Bowersox of Union City, Pa., Melissa Bowersox of Erie, Pa., Kathy (Joe) Spiteri of Girard, Pa., and Lou Ann (Gary Yennias) Wonder Lake, Ill.; his five brothers, Wayne (Thelma) Bowersox, Mace Bowersox, Johnny Bowersox, Melvin Bowersox and Danny Bowersox; and four sisters, Dorothy (Bill) Schwenk, Juanita (George) Polinski, Evelyn Bowersox and Lorna Bowersox, all from Erie, Pa.

Besides his parents, Stanley was preceded in death by his wife, the former Constance L. Barden; and sister-in-law, Judy Bowersox.

The family would like to recognize Sharon Regional Home Health and Hospice for the love, care and support that they gave to Stanley and his family.
