Tammy Sue Robinson, age 57, 626 East 21st Street, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012 at her residence. She was born December 19, 1954 in Meridian, Miss., daughter of the late William Robinson, Sr. and Vinnie Lee Nicholson Robinson. She was a resident of Erie for 46 years and was employed as an Assembler for Aurora Foods (Van De Kamp's). She was a member of Community Missionary Baptist Church. Tammy enjoyed playing softball and played in the O.I.C. League and for Van De Kamp's softball team. She also enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, playing cards and reading. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and will be dearly missed by them all. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Avasha R. Nixon of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Lakesha L. Muhammad of Erie, Pa.; four brothers, William "Doobie" Robinson, Jr., Lee James Robinson (Jeanette), Tony Thornton (Lydia) and Keith Robinson, all of Erie; Louise Dixon (Robert), Tynia Brewton (Kenneth) and Meslica Nicholson, all of Erie; five grandchildren, Marquise, Kierre, Latajhia, Jazyah and Shayona; a special friend, John Gales; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Law Funeral Home, 2926 Pine Ave. A service will follow at 1 p.m. conducted by Rev. Herlis Murphy, pastor of Community Missionary Baptist Church. Interment in Erie Cemetery.
