Thomas A. Robison, Sr., age 77, of Erie, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the PA Soldiers and Sailors Home. He was born in Olean, N.Y. on August 26, 1936, son of the late William Robison and Edna Emery Robison Hayes.
Thomas was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in the Korean Conflict and was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He was a mechanic with PennDOT until his retirement. Thomas had been a member of the CB Club, was a deputy constable, enjoyed bowling, and was a volunteer fireman with Stancliff Hose Co.
Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Leatrice Joy Robison; two brothers, William Robison and Pardon Robison; and two sisters, Mary Romba and Irene McGuay. Survivors include three children, Thomas A. Robison, Jr. of Fairview, Timothy J. Robison, Sr. (Nadene) of Lake City, and Tammie L. Hildreth (Kevin) of Oakdale, Connecticut; one sister, Anna Mae Ahlbrandt of Waterford; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road on Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a funeral service there on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. conducted by Rev. James McCormick of St. James R.C. Church. Interment, St. Gregory Cemetery. A full military service will be conducted by the Erie Crawford County Veterans Burial Detail. I worked with Tom at PennDot. He was a great guy. I haven't seen him in years but enjoyed knowing and working with him. My deepest sympathies to his family. May he rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of Uncle Tommy's passing. My heart goes out to all of you. Thinking back, I remember him always smiling. He sure liked to joke and laugh. My deepest sympathy .
