Vincent Force Obituary
Vincent Force, 85, passed away on Sunday, July 14th, 2018 in Erie.

He was born on May 18, 1933 in North Kingsville, Ohio.

Vince joined the United States Army on May 1, 1953 and served as a Radio Operator during the Korean War until April 6, 1955.

Upon his honorable discharge from the US Army, Vince worked at Meadowbrook Dairy until he retired.

His days were spent relaxing at his favorite place, The Saucery in Millcreek. In addition, most of the people who knew Vince, said that he was a kind hearted soul, that would help anyone.

At the point of his untimely passing, there were no known family members to claim his remains. Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 470 on W. 26th St. volunteered to take over the preparations for the burial services.

A nephew, Richard Force, was later identified and contacted regarding the passing of his Uncle. He will attend the service.

The full military service and arrangements, which is being provided by many donations from friends and with the help of Burton's Funeral Home, Erie County Memorial Gardens, Patriots Guard Rider Group, The Erie Times-News, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars will be held at the Erie County Memorial Gardens Cemetery, at 7880 Edinboro Rd, Erie PA 16509 on Saturday September 15, 2018 at 10 a.m. and conducted by VFW Post 470.
