Walter S. Bulishak Jr., 73, of Fairview, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Pleasant Ridge Manor. Walter S. Bulishak, Jr. was born in Erie on June 22, 1939 to the late Walter and Sally Mae Plonski Bulishak. He was raised in Erie and graduated from Cathedral Prep High School. After high school he joined the U.S. Army. He married Chong Kim Bulishak on March 31, 1962 at Holy Rosary Church in Erie. Walter worked for GTE as a Cable Splicer. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Erie and he was a member of the Siebenbuerger Club. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Theresa Laird. He is survived by his wife, Chong Kim Bulishak; and a brother-in-law, Donald Laird of Erie. Friends and family are invited to call at the Daniel R. Edder Funeral Home, 309 Main St. East, Girard, on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Immediately followed by a prayer service at the funeral home, led by Sister Norma Jean Kingsley, OSB.
