John Franklin Walker, 59, of Beaufort, husband of Theresa Crockett Walker, died Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Beaufort Memorial Hospital. John was born in Erie, Pennsylvania to Sarah Stuck Walker and the late John E. Walker. He was a 1970 graduate of Fairview High School and was formerly employed with ATSI. John enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was predeceased by a sister, Trudy Ann Walker. John is survived by his wife; his mother of Beaufort; a son, Justin Walker of Palmdale, Calif.; a sister, Susan Walker of Port Royal; two grandsons, Christopher and Sebastian Walker, both of Calif.; a step-granddaughter, Victoria Colleran of the home; two step-daughters, Faith Lidster of Walterboro and Csa Colleran of Beaufort; a step-son, Matt Colleran of Beaufort; a niece; and two nephews. John's family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 15th at Copeland Funeral Service, 1 Copeland Drive. Funeral service for John will be held 3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 15th at Copeland Funeral Service Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Theresa Walker, 315 Cedar Grove Circle, Beaufort, SC 29902.
