Richard Joseph Mack, age 57, of North East died Sunday, April 15, 2012 at UPMC Hamot. He was born on September 27, 1954 in Philadelphia, Pa. to the late Edward and Nellie Pizonia Mack. Richard was a veteran of the Vietnam Era serving in the U.S. Army. He worked for the United States Postal Service for 20 years before his retirement. Richard was a member of St. Gregory Church. He loved his family and animals. In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his brother, Marty Mack. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Megan Ann Daniels Mack, married April 30, 1983; sons, Richard Joseph Mack II and his wife, Minuet of Norristown, Pa., and Anthony Robert Mack of North East. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East in charge of funeral arrangements
