Teresa E. Heaton, 85, of Albion, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Edinboro Manor. She was born November 13, 1926 in Laverys Corners, daughter of the late Glenn and Lydia (Snyder) Taylor. Teresa worked as a registered nurse before owning and operating The Corner Store gas and grocery store. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Albion, enjoyed bingo, going to the casino, playing cards, fishing, and she loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death in 1978 by her husband of nearly 28 years, James Heaton, whom she married November 20, 1950; two sons-in-law, John Oakley and William Crowl; two brothers, Gordon and Milford Taylor; and a sister, Bonnie Beers. She is survived by five children, Wendy Oakley of Albion, Elizabeth Olinger (Robert) of Girard, Diane Crowl of Albion, Glenn Heaton (Jody) of Ireland, W. Va., and Sally Dobson (Doug) of Albion; six brothers and sisters, Ronald Taylor of East Springfield, Frieda Daugherty of West Springfield, Janice Payne of West Springfield, Lawrence Taylor (Kathy) of Jamestown, Pa., Loren Taylor (Joann) of Albion, and Rita Huya of Houston, Texas; a sister-in-law, Madolyn Taylor of West Springfield; and a brother-in-law, Ralph Beers of Conneaut Lake. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Sean, Emmy, Johnny, Jamie, Mikey, Justin, Jeff, Matt, and Josh; seven great-grandchildren, Michael, Lucas, Zachary, Mia, Xander, Hunter, and Riley; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Mattera Funeral Home, 188 East State Street, Albion, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and are invited to attend a funeral service there on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
