Mary Bruno, age 63 of Erie, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012, at Independence Court. She was born in Erie, October 14, 1948, a daughter of the late Louis and Margaret Settino Bruno. Mary graduated from St. Benedict Academy in 1966 and began employment at First National Bank and later was employed by the City of Erie for 35 years. She was the Accounts and Finance Manager and retired in 2002. She had a great love for her pet dog Ami, cat Missy and her beloved late dog, Princess. She was a member of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church. Survivors include a sister, Phyllis Simonin of Michigan; two nephews, Mark Simonin and Matthew Simonin, wife Kortney also of Michigan as well as numerous cousins. Friends may call at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, LLP, Pine Avenue Branch, 845 East 38th Street, Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend services there on Thursday at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church.
