Helen Szymanski Golda a resident of Fairview Manor and formerly of Millcreek Twp. died Tuesday April 24, 2012 at Fairview Manor. She was born in Erie Pa., daughter of the late Joseph and Adamina Miszczinski Szymanski. Helen was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. She enjoyed sewing. She was preceded in death by her husband Felix Golda, sisters, Bertha Crabtree, Mary Anna Winarczyk, Victoria Gronostaj, and Amanda Szymanski, and brothers, Walter Szymanski and Leo Szymanski. Survivors include her daughter Joanne Magalhaes of Cape Coral Fla., son in law Richard Magalhaes of Girard, Pa., grandchildren Jennifer Beauchamp and Matthew Magalhaes, and great grandchildren Kaylee, Emma and Isabela Beauchamp. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their sincere thanks for the exceptional care Helen received from the staff, her friends at Fairview Manor. No calling hours will be observed. Friends may attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Blessed Sacrament Church on Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Erie Co. Memorial Gardens.
