Vladimir Polejaev, age 25, of Erie, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2012 following an accident in Washington, D.C. He was born in Kyrgyzstan on June 8, 1986, the son of Raisa Polejaev of Erie and Vladimir Polejaev of Russia. Vladimir was employed with DSNK Corp. He attended the Russian Ukrainian Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing basketball, going to the movies, bowling and going out with his friends. Besides his parents he is survived by one sister, Nadia Salamova (Russell) of Erie; six nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home, 4216 Sterrettania Road on Thursday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Service at the Funeral Home on Friday at 10 a.m. Interment, Laurel Hill Cemetery.
