Nancy Carroll Parks Seevers, age 79, of North East, died on Sunday May 13, 2012 at her residence. She was born on August 6, 1932 in Ashland, Ohio to the late Ralph and Helen Parks. Nancy attended Grove City College and was formerly employed as a phlebotomist. She was an active member of Shiloh Chapter #153 Order of Eastern Star where she served as Worthy Matron for three terms and was also involved with Rainbow Assembly #20. Nancy enjoyed playing bridge, knitting, and was an avid Penn State Nittney Lion fan. Preceded in death is her husband, Raymond E. Seevers. She is survived by her children, Jeff Seevers and his wife LeAnn Parmenter of North East, Karen Seevers of North East, Kimberlee Seevers of Averill Park, N.Y., and Craig Seevers (Laura) of Portland Maine; grandchildren, Samantha Weber, Jason Seevers, Jenna Seevers, and Cooper Seevers; a nephew, Chip Weinheimer and a niece, Leah Lucas. Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street North East on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. till time of a Order of Eastern Star service at 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to O.E.S. #153 in care of Jacque Foust 8467 East Lake Road Erie, PA 16511-1640.
