Loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother Elleanor G. (Rosier) Tujetsch, 87, of Union City, Pa. went to be with her Lord and her husband on Thursday, May 17, 2012, at Corry Manor, Corry, Pa. Elleanor was born in Union City, Pa., the daughter of the late Charles and Althena (Burger) Rosier on March 5, 1925. She was a graduate of Union City Schools where she was a majorette in the band. She also loved roller skating, playing cards, listening to country music, and singing hymns. Elleanor loved to share her recipes with her friends. Enjoying good food, good company, and good fellowship was very special to her. She started her working life with the Former York and Foster Chair Company of Union City, Pa., also working for the former Consumer's Oil Company and later was a cashier for the former A&P Grocery Store, the IGA Grocery Store and the Golden Dawn grocery stores all of Union City, Pa., where she trained many of the former employees, retiring after 20 years. She was a member of the Parade Street United Methodist Church of Union City, Pa., and the First United Methodist Church, of Union City, Pa. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Lodge #882, of Union City, Pa. Elleanor loved visiting with people and you always left her presence with a smile. She had a very strong faith in the Lord and this faith was a testament to her will to keep on living her life. Elleanor was married to John D. Tujetsch on October 18, 1952 in Meadville, Pa. and he preceded her in death in February of 1999. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Hamilton; and a brother, Clarence Rosier. Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Tujetsch of Castaic, California; and sons, David Tujetsch and his wife, Teresa, of Charlotte, North Carolina and Jeffrey Tujetsch and his wife, Judy, of Aliquippa, Pa.; grandchildren, Amber and Stephanie Tujetsch and David Lusk; one great-grandson, Trey Tujetsch; brothers, Charles Rosier and his wife, Jean, of Boynton Beach, Florida and Melvin Rosier and his wife, Mary, of Willow Street, Pa.; several nieces and nephews, and her many friends at Manly Heights Apartments. Friends may call at the Robert M. Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., 62 South Main Street, Union City, PA on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 from 2-4 and 7- until time of funeral services at 8:30 p.m. Rev. James Parkinson of the First United Methodist Church will officiate, with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Union City, Pa. Memorials are requested to the Union City Volunteer Fire Department, 50 Second Avenue, Union City, PA 16438, to the Union City Community Ambulance Service, 50 Second Avenue, Union City, PA 16438, or to the Union City Public Library, Stranahan Street, Union City, PA 16438.
