Tess M. Hopkins, age 30, went to meet the Lord May 17, 2012. She passed away at her home following an extended illness. Tess was surrounded by those who loved her. Tess graduated as a National Merit Scholar from Bethel Christian High School. She then graduated from Grove City College with degrees in Mathematics and Secondary Education. She was employed by Erie Insurance in the Life Actuarial Department until her death. She loved color and will be remembered for bringing it into the lives of those she met. She tutored in various subjects and did volunteer work as long as she was able. She found great peace at Erie Church of Christ. She adored her Witherow yellow Lab, Sandi. She was preceded in death by her father and his parents; her maternal grandfather, Dr. Scovell. M. Hopkins, and her uncle, Dr. Steven Hopkins. She is survived by her mother, Suzanne Hopkins of Erie, maternal grandmother, Rita Hopkins of Michigan, and aunts, uncles, and cousins. Many thanks to each of you who supported her during her life! A memorial service will be held at a later date at Erie Church of Christ.
