Frank O. Sharp, age 83, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at St. Mary's Home East. He was born in Franklin, Pa. on November 20, 1928, son of the late Seth and Ethel Sharp. Frank was employed at Steris Mfg. until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing and playing bingo. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War. Frank is survived by two daughters, Darlene Coxon (William) and Betty Swanson (John); three sons, David Sharp (Christine), Brian Sharp and Donald Sharp; his former spouse, Jewel Book; one sister, Evelyn Mozur; one brother, Ronald Sharp (Maryann); 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Glassman. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road on Friday from 4 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 7 p.m. Private interment will be held.
