Mother of Seven goes to Heaven Eileen E. Schneidmiller Picheco age 93, a twenty year resident of Ostrow Apartments in Erie, passed away at Golden Living Center at Walnut Creek Saturday morning, May 26, 2012. She was born in Erie on November 30, 1918 a daughter of the late Carl and Fern Breese Schneidmiller. While caring for her increasing family, she had also worked at Marx Toys, GE and Buffalo Molded Plastics. Having lived in Fairview for many years, she and her husband Andrew John Picheco also lived in Deltona, Florida from 1968 to 1984. They moved back to Albion, and the next year they lost their home to the Tornado but thankfully not their lives. As a gifted crafter of beautiful ceramics and many forms of needlework, her memory will live on with those many friends and relatives whom she gifted with those special items. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Andy, of 50 years, two sisters; Vivian Thunberg and Lucille Bleil, one brother; Donald Schneidmiller, two sons; John Carl Picheco and Andrew J. Picheco Jr., two grandsons; John and Brent Picheco and one great-granddaughter; Holly Hutson. She is survived by her children; Shirley (Francis) Lipinski of Erie, Michael (Idamae) Picheco of Spring Hill, Florida, Thomas (Kay Lynne) Picheco of Erie, Dave (Sue) Picheco of Girard and Ann (Wes) Vermillion of Noblesville, Indiana. She is further survived by 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc. 5000 Wattsburg Rd. Erie, PA 16504, on Wednesday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., and are invited to funeral services there on Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. David Edmonds officiating. Interment will follow in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Belle Valley Presbyterian Church 1694 Norcross Rd.
