Dennis L. Murdock, 66, of Waterford, Pa. went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 26, 2012, surround by his family and friends. Dennis was born July 27, 1945 in Oil Creek, Pa. the son of the late Lawrence and Betty (Kenniston) Murdock, being the eldest of four siblings. On October 30, 1999, he married Patricia A. Williams â€"Steffy who survives him. He graduated from Spartansburg High School in 1963, and then served in the United States Marines as a Sergeant (E-5), as an Administrative Man during the 1960's. After his honorable discharge he was employed by Waste Management for 33 years, retiring in 2008. He loved spending time with his family and friends at Camper's Hill Campground in Wattsburg, Pa., and along with his wife was actively involved with Droopy Basset Rescue. Besides his parents Dennis was preceded in death by a son Dwane Murdock and two brothers, Dale C. and Troy D. Murdock. Survivors include his wife Patricia Murdock of Waterford, Pa., sons, Darrin Murdock of Corry, Pa., Shaun Murdock of Wilmington N.C., Darek Murdock and his wife Yvette of Westmoreland, Tenn., daughter Debbie Winters and her husband Tom of Union City, Pa., son, David and Suzanne Williams of Paso Robles, Calif., son Jay Williams and his wife Karin of Erie, Pa., daughter Eileen Steffy of Wattsburg, Pa., son, Brian Steffy and his wife Teresa of Guys Mills, Pa., daughter, Sandy Steffy of Erie, Pa., son Spencer Steffy and his wife Tammy of Titusville, Pa. , son, Joe Steffy of Erie, Pa., a brother Terry J. Murdock of Greenwood, Del., 22 Grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Friends will be received at the Robert M. Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., 62 South Main Street, Union City, Pa. on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and may attend funeral services at the Christian Missionary and Alliance Church, 2 Dowman Street, Union City, Pa. on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Thomas Hunsberger will officiate with interment in Rose Hill Cemetery, Spartansburg, Pa. Full Military Honors will be held after the funeral services. Memorials are requested to the Robert M. Glenn Funeral Home, Inc. 62 South Main Street, Union City, PA 16438.
