A bright star diminished today! "Marv-elous" born Marvin Bogue Ellis on May 29, 1929 died at home in Columbia South Carolina after an extended illness with his wife of 55 years at his side. He is survived by his immediate family, his wife, Stephanie Shriber Ellis, his daughter Loraine Ellis Vienne, his son-in-law, Michael Allan Vienne and his grandson, Ellis Mackenzie Vienne all of Columbia South Carolina. He also leaves behind his sisters Mrs.Andrew [Audrey] Krivonak and Mrs Lawrence [Norma] Arble of Erie, Pennsylvania and numerous nephews and nieces. Cremation will be private. He asked that he "be remembered for the friendships he shared and that he will be waiting for you in heaven."
