Shirley A. Miller Weber, age 77, of Harborcreek Twp., passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Twinbrook Medical Center. She was born in Erie on April 27, 1935, daughter of the late Maurice Miller and Adelaide Hess Miller Froehlich. Shirley graduated from Harbor Creek High School in 1955 and was a former North East Grape Queen. She had volunteered for the Erie Visiting Nurses Association for many years. Shirley was a longtime member of Faith Lutheran Church where she had served as the Financial Secretary. Shirley enjoyed gardening, music, playing keyboard, reading and traveling. She especially enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by an infant son, Brian Scott Weber; her brother Donald M. Miller, Sr.; and her stepfather, Joseph Froehlich. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, L. Daniel Weber; two daughters, Tamara L. Weber, CPA of Gaithersburg, Md., Dr. Valerie D. Weber of Abington, Pa.; one son, Dr. Bradley A. Weber (Grace) of Springboro, Ohio; two sisters, Marian Zerfoss of Clarksburg, Pa. and Nancy C. Price (James) of Millcreek Twp.; one brother, Kenneth E. Miller (Phyllis) of Wesleyville; one stepbrother, Joseph Froehlich, Jr. (Mary Lou) of Harborcreek Twp.; three grandchildren, Wesley A. Weber, Morgan R. Muller and Daniel C. Muller; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Monday at 11 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church.
