Daniel Corwin, 68, formerly of McKean, passed away at home in Branson, Mo. on May 30, 2012. He was born August 9, 1943, the son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Corwin. He was proprietor of many businesses including The Elk Creek Inn and Middleboro Fordge. He was a general contractor and worked for the U.S. Postal Service. He was known for is wit, friendly spirit and kindness towards others. Survivors include three sons, Matthew (Judy), Aaron (Kelly) and Jacob (Laura). Seven grandchildren Zachary, Justin, Claire, Ashley, Elaine, Jacob and Jared. Brothers William (Kay), Richard (Dixie), John (Carol), Joel (Diane) and sisters Bonnie (Jim) Sterrett and Christine (Bob) Baer. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Ryden. There will be no visitation and services will be private.
