Florence A. Krupinski Bernard, 92 of Erie, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2012 at St. Mary's Home-East. She was born May 14, 1920, in Erie, daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Roskos) Krupinski. She was a 1938 graduate of East High School. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Stan's Mom's Club and the Holy Rosary Society. She enjoyed playing pinochle, crossword puzzles and baking bread. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Bernard in 2000, and four sisters, Josephine Chrowstowski, Genevieve Rodack, Esther Krupinski and Rose Pelkowski. Survivors include a son, Ronald H. Bernard and wife Dr. Judith Woll of Dayton, Ohio, three daughters, Darlene C . Doehrel and husband James, Diannne T. Bernard, both of Erie and Mary Rodriguez of Miami Shores, Fla. Also survived by a grandson, Adam David Rodriguez and a granddaughter, Tatyana Marie Rodriguez, both of Miami Shores, Fla. and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Edward J. Garr Funeral Home, 459 East 12th Street, Erie, PA 16503, Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be at the funeral home on Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 at St. Stanislaus Church. Burial will be at Trinity Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Mary's Home-East, 607 East 26th Street, Erie, PA 16504 or St. Stanislaus Church, 516 East 13th Street, Erie, PA 16503.
