Louis N. Nadeau, Jr., age 64, of Erie, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2012 at the Erie Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Born December 22, 1947 in Farmington, Maine, he was the son of the late Louis N. Nadeau, Sr. and Dora Bell Stewart. Louis was a self employed musician playing at many venues over the years and with many bands including Billy Thunder and the Thunderbolts as well as the Jim Turner Band. He and his wife, Eileen, also owned Dynamite Pizza for 23 years. He also was a member of the American Legion, Carl Neff Post, in Wesleyville. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Nadeau. Survivors include his wife, Eileen Thompson Nadeau; a son, Louis N. Nadeau, III, wife Brenda of Conneaut, Ohio; two daughters, Monique and Lisa Nadeau both of Erie; six sisters, Beverly Brochu, husband Renee and Nancy Smith, husband Brad, both of Maine, Barbara Sidman, husband Dave, Simone Vogle, husband Dave, and Pammy Easton, husband Charles, all of Erie, and Betty Thompson, husband Joseph, of Ohio; 15 grandchildren; and one great grandson. Friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, LLP, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Boulevard. Further visitation will be held there Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
