Frances V. (Parsons) Kuhar, 84, of Erie, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2012 at her residence following a brief illness. She was born on November 9, 1927 in Erie, Pa. a daughter of the late Clifford J. and Ruth (Kothe) Parsons. She was employed at the Hills Department Store on West 38th Street as a sales associate where she retired and as a telephone operator for GTE. She loved to knit and sew, and make handmade afghans and quilts, also enjoyed slot machines at the casino here in Erie and in travels with friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward P. Kuhar on December 8, 1986. A daughter, Constance Kuhar. Sisters, Donna Gemler and Margaret Gardner and twin at birth. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Jiuliante and her husband, Richard of Erie and Elizabeth Kuhar of Erie. A sister, Jean Allue and her husband, Gene of Erie and many nieces and nephews.
