Proud Father of Four and Papa of Two Charles J. "Chuck" Rubin, Jr., age 69, of Erie, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2012, at UPMC Hamot. Born in Erie on November 7, 1942, he was a son of the late Charles "Red" and Christine (Pape) Rubin, Sr. Chuck was a 1960 graduate of Cathedral Prep and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. An avid car enthusiast, he was a car salesman his entire life. His quick wit was enjoyed by family and friends. Survivors include three daughters, Julie Maggio, husband David, of Severna Park, Md., Nancy Fahmy, husband Sharief, of Dubai, UAE, and Emily Reed, husband Dale, of Miami, Fla.; a son, Matthew Rubin, wife Crissy, of Miami, Fla.; his wife of forty years, Carol Rubin; and two grandchildren, Alex and Nadine. Friends may call at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Boulevard, Wednesday from 3 p.m. until a service conducted by Fr.
