Dad, I remember a warm, breezy day in Atlanta and I was planting flowers in the back yard. I stopped to take a drink of water out of the jug I had brought with me. I was thanking God for such a beautiful day when I realized I was softly wistling to myself and jingling the coins and keys in my pocket. It struck me like a bolt of lighting that I had become you. I was so proud that I cried tears of joy. Thank you for your constant dedication, tolerance and your unlimited Love. I am grateful to you and Mom for all you did and taught me as I grew into a man. I am blessed to have had you as my quide and know that you still will be there when I ask for help.
Bobby said when a man dies and goes to heaven with a 20 dollar gold piece, it announces to God and the world that he left this earth as a respectable man. Check your pockets, I did not want you to leave empty handed. Dad, their is not a man I respected more than you, my Father. Give my love to Tricia.

Papa, you were a one of a kind man. I am so thankful to have spent so much of my life and time with you. I will always cherish the memories I have with you from going to church every Sunday when I was a little girl to spending many weekends and summer vacations at your house to play domino's, watch movies, pick your flowers outside or just to listen to your stories of how you grew up and look at old pictures of the family with you.. down to the little things like always knowing if it was a birthday or any other day no matter how big or small you were always there to give me a big hug and tell me how much you loved me and that made the day so much more special. I have so many wonderful memories there are too many to list.. You have also made so many memories with the kids that I thank you so much for you have been a blessing in their lives just like you always were in mine. You will always hold a very special place in our hearts. We love you and will miss you more then words can say. All our love

Louise,
I'm so sorry to have learned from this morning' Times of Bob's passing. You and he were such wonderful and helpful friends to Mom and Dad and, particularly later, to Mom and Hank. I'm sure that Bob is in good hands and is relaxing comfortably, although in all honesty I've thought he was in some form of eternal relaxation from the moment I met him. Now that I know where he's from it all fits :). With love and best wishes, Mike (and Eileen) Strohmeyer
