Greg J. Munsch, age 29, of Erie left this world unexpectedly on Friday July 20, 2012. He was born July 21, 1982 in Erie the son of Gerald C. Munsch and Mary M. Kunik. Greg was a graduate of Collegiate Academy and was incredibly smart and a gifted craftsman. He loved to work on cars, do home remodeling projects and fix anything with electronics. He also loved to play video games with his two sons, Brendan and Colin. He was a selfless and empathetic partner and friend, always putting his family and friends first. Greg was currently working at the Glenwood YMCA and also coached soccer for them. Besides his parents, Greg is survived by his loving companion and partner, Siobhan K. Peterson-Walsh; his two sons, Brendan J. and Colin J. Munsch; his stepmother, Carolyn Munsch; two sisters, Melissa and Meghan Munsch; three brothers, Gerad, Mathew, and Ryan Munsch. Siobhan's parents, Edward J. Walsh and Kirsten Peterson and his paternal grandmother, Carmelita Hogan Munsch. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Greg was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Frances Kunik. Friends are invited to call at the John J. Quinn Funeral Home, West 9th & Liberty St. Wednesday from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at which time Funeral Services will be held. Burial will be private. Memorials may be made to the family.
