Margaret Jane Connolly, age 84, of Erie, died Sunday, August 5, 2012, after a brief illness surrounded by her family. She was born in Erie on March 30, 1928, a daughter of the late Daniel and Emma Connolly. She was a 1945 graduate of Strong Vincent High School and retired from Curly Adjustment Agency after many years of service. She was a life member of St. Joseph Church/Bread of Life Community and their Rosary Society. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Connolly. She is survived by four sisters, Sr. Kathryn Connolly, SSJ, Mary Pierce, Dorothy Connolly, whom she lived with her entire life, and Bette Schultz Miller (Paul), all of Erie; and a brother, Daniel Connolly (Pat) of Erie. She was a loving aunt to 25 nieces and nephews and several great and great-great nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Tuesday at the Francis V. Kloecker Funeral Home, Inc., 2502 Sassafras St., Erie, PA 16502 from 3-7 and are invited to a service there on Wednesday at 9:30 followed by the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church/Bread of Life Community at 10 a.m. Send condolences towww.kloeckerfuneralhome.com.
