Paul Martin, 64, of Albion, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012 at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was born June 24, 1948 in Oil City, Pa., son of Elizabeth J. (Fischer) Martin of Titusville, Pa. and the late Paul E. Martin. Paul graduated from Titusville High School and served with the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the N.R.A., he enjoyed camping, fishing, being outside and spending time with his family. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife in 2010, Susan L. (Christ) Martin, whom he married August 31, 2000. Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth J. (Fischer) Martin of Oil City, four children, Melissa Denham and her husband, Ed, of Pavo, Ga., Andrew Martin and his wife, Christina, of Bradenton, Fla., Tom Martin of Oil City, Pa., Mary Keefer of Albion, eight grandchildren, Courtney, Savannah, Skyler, Arianna, Hunter, Caleb, Camden, Alannah, two step-children, three sisters, Nancy Cox, Charlotte Huston and her husband, Charles, Barbara Ziemba and her husband, Joseph, all of Titusville, Pa., one brother, Charles Martin and his wife, Linda, of Franklin, Pa., and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends may call at the Mattera Funeral Home, 188 East State Street, Albion, on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. followed by burial in Albion Cemetery with military honors.
