Yvonne Stepp Roberts, 51, 2012 Cottage Ave., passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Erie, Pa., on September 20, 1961, a daughter of Stella Stepp of Erie and the late Elmer Keith. A lifelong resident of Erie, she had been employed as a cook at the Downs Casino, Burger King, the former Brown Derby and was head cook at the Erie County Day School. Yvonne was a member of the House of Prayer where she served on the Missionary and Usher boards. She enjoyed planning events, traveling, singing and dancing, shopping and watching karate movies. She loved spending time with her family. Yvonne will be dearly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her mother, Stella Stepp, she leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 36 years, Lee Roberts; five sons, Lee, Charles, Chris and Andrew Stepp and William Roberts; three daughters, Tiawana, Shiela and Kathlina Stepp, all of Erie; six brothers, T. L., James, Thomas, David, Michael and Darnell Stepp, all of Erie; five sisters, Lizzie Ann (Charles) Watford, Diane Worrell, Judy Rogers, Carolyn Stovall and Sherry Powell, all of Erie; nine grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, 5 to 8 p.m., at House of Prayer Baptist Church, 155 E. 21st St. and may attend a service at the church on Saturday, 11 a.m., conducted by Rev. Michael Coles. Interment in Lakeside Cemetery. Funeralization by House of Law Inc., 9406 Frankstown Rd., Pittsburgh, Pa.
