On October 3, 2012, Victoria Susan "Wah-B" (Bayle) Turner, of Westfield, N.Y., passed away at home after a long battle with frontotemporal dementia. She now lives with our precious Lord. Born on September 20, 1952 in Union City, Pa. to Robert R. Bayle and Shirley (Johnson) Bayle, Vickie was raised in Wattsburg, Pa. On December 28, 1968, she married her "Sugar Bear", Kevin Karl Turner and over the next seven years had three daughters. She spent her life being a devoted wife and mother. Vickie touched many lives with her kind heart, gentle spirit, infectious laugh and sense of humor and her willingness to open her heart and home to everyone. She loved baking and cooking, making crafts, quilting and knitting, and spending time with animals and nature. She relished the fall and winter holidays and was also an avid Cleveland Indians fan and Trekkie. Vickie was preceded in death by her father, Robert R. Bayle. Along with her husband Kevin, she is survived by her mother, Shirley Bayle, of Westfield, daughters, Kimberly Turner of Erie, Karissa Zimmer (Michael) of Westfield, and Heather Abele (David) also of Westfield; grandchildren, Shayne (Amy), Katelyn (Brandon Pierce), Evan, D.J., Mackenzie and Sydnee Abele, and Garrett and Lena Zimmer; great grandchildren, Chase & Caedyn Abele. Vickie is also survived by her brother, Richard R. Bayle (Christine) and many nephews and nieces. After cremation, visiting hours will be held at Mason Funeral Home, 37 Clinton St., Westfield, N.Y., on Saturday, October 6, 2012, from 5 to 7 p.m. A private ceremony will be held for the family at a later date.
