Peggy E. Helm, age 88, passed away on Thursday October 4, 2012 at Fairview Manor. She was born in Parsons, Kansas on July 26, 1924 daughter of the late Michael and Clessia Smith Walsh Sr. She was a graduate of Kansas City High School. She was a member of Asbury Woods Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses. Peggy was preceded in death by three brothers, Michael Jr., Ray, and Gerald Walsh along with a sister, Alice Engels. She is survived by a grandson, Edward Joseph Helm of Kansas, a sister, Olga Tome and her husband John of Erie and a granddaughter, Melissa. Further survived by three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements were private under the care of Burton Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 602 West Tenth Street, Erie, Pa. 16502. Memorials may be made to Asbury Woods Congregation Jehovah Witnesses 3604 Asbury Rd. Erie, PA 16506.
