Lu Jean May Kinney, 84, of Union City, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Edinboro Manner, Edinboro, Pa. Jean was born on March 24, 1928 in Franklin, Pa., the daughter of the late Lee and Dessie Baker. Jean worked for many years at the Cherry Hill Division of the Ethan Allen Furniture Company and retired from the finishing department. She was also a proud and active member of the Union City Church of the Nazarene, a devoted sister, wife, mother and grandmother. Jean's priority was spending time with her family. She also enjoyed knitting, cooking, gardening and keeping up with the latest fashions. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of more than 50 years, Mr. Ralph H. Kinney and a sister, Armantha Patmore. Survivors include twin sons, Robert Kinney and Richard Kinney and his wife Valerie, a sister Loraine Sculer, four grandchildren, Dawn Skinner, Kristy Kinney, Robert Lee Kinney and Brandith Kinney, ten great-grandchildren, and dear friend, Pat McQuistin of Corry, Pa. Jean will be missed and remembered by all of the lives she touched. Friends are invited to call at the Robert M. Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., 62 South Main Street, Union City, Pa. on Monday, October 8, 2012 from 12 noon until the time of the services at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Dennis Shudzinski will officiate, with interment in Pine Grove Cemetery, Corry, Pa.
