Diane Elaine Miller Rondeau, age 68 of Erie, died Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at the Cleveland Clinic following a brief illness. She was born May 19, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pa., a daughter of Shirley White Miller and the late Mert Miller. Diane Elaine Rondeau, our hero, our mother; you were a strong deeply loving, protective mother who taught us well for life and we thank you, and have been truly blessed to have you as our mother. The pain of your loss is deep and goes uncomforted. You are greatly missed, your children Jack and Michelle. Diane graduated from Strong Vincent High School, class of 1962. She was a nurse's aide at St. Vincent Health Center, and had also worked at Sears and Roebuck. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Tina Marie Enders and John T. Enders. In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband of 38 years, Richard R. Rondeau; a daughter, Michelle Hand of Erie; a son, John A. Enders of Erie; two grandchildren, Dawn Marie Enders of Pittsburgh, and Matthew Enders of Erie; three sisters, Susan Samuel, Peggy Miller, Janice Miller; and a brother Tom Miller, all of Erie. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
