Jane K. Crowley, age 82, of Erie, passed away on Friday, October, 5, 2012. She was born in Erie on November 6, 1929, a daughter of the late William and Gertrude (Lavery) Kelley. Jane had worked at the Erie Presbyterian Lodge in the Dietary Department for over 30 years retiring in 1998. She was a longtime member of Blessed Sacrament Church. Jane loved taking care of her grandchildren, taking them to their sporting events, and especially watching them play. Her family was her priority in life. Besides her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Crowley, a sister, Ruth Gintz, and two brothers, William and James Kelley. She is survived by three daughters, Mary Jane Podesta, husband Ray, of Tulsa, Okla., Jean Banaszek, husband Jim, of Erie, and Joan Duckett, husband Dave, of Lewisberry, Pa.; a son, John Crowley, wife Lori, of Erie; five grandsons, Matthew Podesta, Brian Banaszek, Kevin Banaszek, Jack Crowley, and Sam Crowley; and a sister, Marie Costigan, of Fort Meyers, Fla. Friends are invited to call at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Boulevard, on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service there at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Blessed Sacrament Church at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
