Gary S. "Mr. T" Trojanowski Obituary
Gary S. "Mr. T" Trojanowski , age 64, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012, surrounded by his loving family, at his home in Millcreek. Born in Erie on May 21, 1948, he was a son of Eleanor (Bierasinski) Trojanowski, of Erie and the late Joseph Trojanowski. He was a graduate of Cathedral Prep in 1966, and Edinboro University, in 1983. He worked as an accountant at Automation Devices, Inc., for over 20 years. He previously worked at Hammermill Paper Company. Gary was a member of Our Lady of Peace Church and Saint Joseph Bread of Life Community. He devoted much of his time to the Erie community, and his church, by serving on several organizations' boards and coaching for youth sports teams and active in youth ministrey. He was also a member of several local clubs, and enjoyed bowling and golfing with friends. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan. He was preceded in death by his father; his wife of 41 years, Joan P. "Mrs. T" Trojanowski, on September 23, 2011; and a brother Alan. In addition to his mother, survivors include two daughters, Amy Rupp, husband Daniel, and Emily Thomas, husband Graham, all of Erie; three grandchildren, Noah and Andrew Rupp, and Brady Thomas; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kathy and Robert McCarthy, of Erie; a brother, Donald; and a sister, Roseann; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Boulevard, Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 9 until a prayer service at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Peace Church at 10:30 a.m. Private burial will be at the convenience of the family at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
