Joseph Petrick, died on Monday, October 8, 2012. Joe was born January 7, 1927 in Homestead, Pa. to Nickolas and Anna (Czupinka) Petrick In 1987, after 27 years of service, Joseph retired from GeneralElectric in Erie. He loved being outdoors. In his younger years he enjoyed, hunting and pitching horseshoes. He also enjoyed farming, which is something he did his entire life. Joseph spent several years serving as an Elder with the Cambridge Springs Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He loved the door to door ministry and enjoyed sharing his Bible based hope of a resurrectionof the dead with all he met. (John 5:28) He was survived by Ermaleta (Rosebrook) Petrick, his wife of seven years, who cared for him until his death, five sons: John of Meadville, Joseph (Linda) of Waterford, Gary (Eve) of Cambridge Springs, Dale (Sandra) of Venango, and Steven of Cambridge Springs, three Stepsons - Timothy (Theresa) Lascola, of Warren, Pa., Anthony Lascola of Arkansas, Mark (Darlene) Lascola of Denver, Colo. one brother Nick and one sister Martha. He had 16 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and a worldwide family of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Marion (King); and two brothers, John and Michael as well as three sisters, Mary, Helen, and Anna. A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 414 McClellan Street, Cambridge Springs, Pa., on Saturday, October 13 at 1:00 p.m. Timothy Lascola, an Elder with the Warren Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, will be officiating. Interment will be private, The Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of funeral arrangements.
