 Constance Phyllis Krise Megat, 81, of Union City, Pa., passed away at her residence on Thursday, October 11, 2012. Constance was born February 15, 1931 in Johnsonburg, Pa., the daughter of the late Lewis and Gertrude Krise. She was also preceded in death by her husband Joseph Megat in 1995, two sisters, Genivieve Law and Lorraine Arvickson, and four brothers, Peter, Cletus, Elwood and Richard Krise. Survivors include daughter, Kimberly Vogel and her husband Michael, of Wattsburg, Pa., and their children, Jared Vogel and his wife Jessica of Edinboro, Pa. and Danielle Subbe and her husband Christopher, and great-grandchildren Travis and Collin Vogel, daughter, Penny Allen and her husband Stephen of Edinboro, Pa., and grandson Tyler Allen, son, Michael Megat and his wife Ronda of Union City, Pa. and their children Robert Elliot, Christopher and his wife Amber Elliot and James Elliot, Melissa Burt and her husband Todd and great-grandchildren, Kaley, Abbigail, Noah, Maxwell and Ellianna, and son, Daniel Megat and his wife Tracy of Cambridge Springs, Pa. Also survived by a sister Vada Kolinski of Johnsonburg, Pa. Connie worked at a variety of jobs in the area, including a teacher's aide at Union City Elementary School, Ellis Carload Day's Appliance Store in Union City, Pa., and Alta's Perenial Gardens of Waterford, Pa. She enjoyed spending time with her family, was an avid reader, and enjoyed crocheting and gardening. She also served as Past Regent of the Women of the Moose and was a member of St. Teresa Parish of Union City, Pa. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., at the Robert M. Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., 62 South Main Street, Union City, Pa., with funeral services to be held at the family's convenience. Father Thomas Suppa will officiate with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Union City, Pa. Memorials are requested to the Union City Public Library, Stranahan Street, Union City, PA 16438, for a collection of Gardening Books.
