Dean Ronald Shepherd, 42, of Edinboro, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012 after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Erie on June 29, 1970, the son of Ronald R. Shepherd of N.Y. and Gail Flynn Stickner and her husband Jim of Edinboro. Survivors include is wife, Jennifer Seeman Shepherd; four sons, Michael Koester, Lloyd Koester, Galen Shepherd and Cian Shepherd all at home; two sisters, Shelly (Dan) Forbes, and Carrie (Jason) Powell; in-law's, Don and Janet Seeman. No calling hours will be observed. A memorial service will be held on October 14, 2012 at the Edinboro United Methodist Church, 113 High Street, Edinboro, at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Natalie Christoph officiating. There will be a wake to follow at the Edinboro Vol. Fire Department, 125 Meadville St., Edinboro. The Glunt Funeral Home, Edinboro, is in charge of funeral arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family for a trust fund for his children.
