Mary E. Hill Fisher, age 79, of North East, died Friday October 12, 2012 at Twinbrook Medical Center. She was born November 15, 1932 in Indiana Co., Pa., to the late Harry and Ruth Cressley Hill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George Fisher (September 23, 2012); sisters, Minnie Marie Laslo and Ethel Hill; brothers, Harry and Russell Hill. Mary is survived by a son, Edward Fisher (Phyllis); daughters, Mary Jane Cady (Dennis), Cindy Fisher of North East, and Sandra Stewart (Bill) of Texas; brother, William Hill; sister, Alma Hebner of Indiana Co.; and a dear friend, Bertha Forrest; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Ridilla (Shawn), Jodie Williams (Bob), Denise Pekelnicky (Pete), Bryan Fisher (Sara), Duane Fisher (Diane), Robert Fisher (Larkin), Michael Fisher (Jennifer), and Melissa Washe (Jeff); nine great-grandchildren, Emalie, Cecelia, Caitlyn, Alex, Lindsey, Lyla, Domanic, Dylan and Ellie. Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake St., North East on Monday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Mary C. Steward officiating. Private interment will be in Grahamvile Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
