Rosemarie Murphy Kohler, 86, of Erie, died suddenly Tuesday February 12, 2013 at St. Vincent Health Center. A lifelong resident of Erie, she was born April 29, 1926 a daughter of the late Perry and Ethel Ohs Murphy. Rosemarie graduated from St. Benedict Academy and was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. She volunteered in the Our Lady of Mount Carmel school office and was involved with the Prayer Shawl Ministry. She enjoyed tap dancing with the Happy Tappers and also enjoyed Western Style square dancing with the Y Squares and Presque Isle Dancers where she served as secretary for many years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Murphy. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, William E. Kohler; two daughters, Charlene Antalek and her husband John of Stow, OH and Patricia Radziszewski and her husband Rob of Dublin, OH; one son, William P. Kohler and his wife Sherry of Erie; six grandchildren, Michael Antalek and his wife Colleen, Allison Antalek, Carey Clute and her husband B.J., Jeffrey Kohler and his wife Jessica, Quinn Radziszewski, and Emilia Radziszewski; eight great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Road, on Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to a prayer service there on Saturday morning at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m..
