Alice Nevecki Dombrowski, age 84, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at her residence in Millcreek. Born in Erie on December 29, 1928, she was a daughter of the late John and Rose Robasky Nevecki (Niedzwiecki). A graduate of St. Benedict Academy, she was employed at Erie Resistor (later Erie Technological Products) for 29 years. She was also the church secretary at Mount Calvary Catholic Church, until she retired on December 31, 1993. With her husband of 60 years, Francis "Tom" Dombrowski, who died in 2010, she shared a love of animals, especially dogs and cats, having either one in their home. They also liked to travel throughout the United States and Canada, and since they loved to dance, enjoyed polka bands. She was a member of American Legion Post 773, and the Siebenbuerger Club. Survivors include cousins, Christine Sierota and Mary Ann Datz, both of Erie, a sister-in-law, Helen Dombrowski of Erie, along with several other cousins, godchildren, and friends, including Msgr. Daniel Magraw, Pastor of Blessed Sacrament Church. Friends may call Friday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Boulevard, and may attend a prayer service there Saturday at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Blessed Sacrament Church at 11 o'clock.
