Aderian Lamont "Mont" Page Sr. Obituary
Aderian Lamont "Mont" Page, Sr., age 35, 1021 E. 24th St., passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 28, 2013. He was born in Erie, Pa. on August 28, 1977, son of Clantha Nixon and Jerome Page (Brenda). A lifelong resident of Erie, he attended Central High School. He was employed at American Tint & Galvanizing. He was a former member of Antioch Baptist Church. He enjoyed shooting pool, playing darts, playing basketball and going to the movies. He was a homebody who liked to cook and clean. "Mont" loved to laugh and talk, loved to debate anything, was the family philosopher and treated everyone they way he would want to be treated. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Thompson; his grandparents, Samantha and Willie Nixon, Sr. and Louis and Merle Page; two uncles, Willie Nixon, Jr. and Bud Nixon; an aunt, Eunice Aiken; and three nephews, Mouse, Jermaine and Rashad. Besides his parents, he leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Aderian L. Page, Jr. and Dymir Robert Page and a daughter, Aiya Henderson Page, all of Erie; ten brothers, Paul Flemmings (Tina), Al Jones, Mack Nixon, Duane Hemphill, Jermaine Nixon (Paula), Durrell Graham, Terrance Jones, Wakeem Page, Sr., Tyhee Page and Melvin Dobbs; four sisters, Lillian Bailey, Nicole Thompson, Janaya Page Hall (Maurice), and Bernice Page; godbrother, Kreamore Henderson; godsister, Jamie Smith; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, 4 to 8 p.m., at Second Baptist Church, 757 E. 26th St. The funeral service will be on Saturday, 1 p.m., at Second Baptist Church, with Rev. Duane Hunter officiating and Rev. Louis Nixon eulogizing, both of Antioch Baptist Church. Interment in Erie Cemetery. Funeralization by House of Law, Inc., Penn Hills, Pa.
