Edward M. Rizzo, age 55, of Millcreek passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Erie on July 9, 1957 a son of the late John and Helen (DiMaria) Rizzo. Ed had worked at Erie County Farms as the Meat manager. He was an avid Detroit Tigers and Oakland Raiders Fan. He enjoyed playing golf. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Anthony Rizzo and a sister Concetta Rizzo and several aunts and uncles. Ed is survived by his wife of 25 years, Lisa (Hebert) Rizzo, his daughter Traci Rizzo-Leuschen, husband Adam of Cleveland, Ohio, his son Michael Rizzo of Erie; his mother-in-law, Amelia Hebert, his father-in-law, John Hebert, wife Gail, his uncle-in-law, Michael Picardo, sisters-in-law, Judy Stokes, husband Kirk and Linda Anderson, husband John; his uncles, Leu Shioleno, and Richard Young; nieces and nephews: Lynn Alexander, Tony Rizzo, Mark Rizzo, Johnny Mau and Miranda Anderson and their families and close friends the Machinski family and John Wood. Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Blvd. Private services and burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
