Rev. Karen Ann Mohr, on April 22, 2013, fulfilled this life's contract and is eager to go home to receive her next assignment. She was born in Erie on September 3, 1953 and graduated from East High School in 1971. She resided in Erie all her life. Karen worked at GTE/Verizon for 30 years, retiring from there in 2002. She then opened a novelties store, named Mohr & More, from 2004 to 2011. Rev. Karen was a gifted Medium and a Member and Vice President of the Christian Spiritualist Church for a number of years. She was also Vice President of the Harmonical Philosophy Association. She loved horses and dogs, especially Boston Terriers, and is looking forward to seeing the ones with which she shared her life again. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Joann Howell Mohr. She is survived by her brother, Robert Mohr and sister-in-law, Georgia Mohr; her brother Paul Mohr and sister-in-law, Amy Mohr; and her nephews, Bobby, John, Kyle and Dillion Mohr. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road, on Friday from 3 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 6 p.m. conducted by Rev. Cynthia Laffan and Rev. T.J. Laffan. Private interment will be held at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
