John E. Pacley, Jr., 65, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013 at UPMC-Hamot. He was born in Gilberttown, Ala. on May 1, 1948, son of the late John and Velma Napier Pacely Sr. John moved to Erie with his family at the young age of 6 years old, and attended Tech Memorial High School. He worked for Erie Malleable for over 15 years and also worked briefly for Erie County Farms. He was member of First Born Apostolic Faith Church of God. John liked to fish, gardening, picnics, family gatherings and had a love for music. He will be dearly missed by family and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother James Pacley. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Tanisha Pacley of Pittsburgh, Pa.; three brothers, Edward, Kenneth, Gregory Pacley all of Erie; nine sisters, Barbara Jean Carson (Robert) of Tampa Fla., Linda Dixon (Victor) of Erie, Joyce Pacley of Harrisburg, Pa., Kathleen Pacley of Erie, Pa., Sylvia Mc Ray (Mark) of Oil City, Pa., Debra Martin (Maurice) of Erie, Pa., Brenda Roberts (Robert) of Erie, Pa., Cynthia and Loretta Pacley both of Erie; three grandchildren; two aunts; Ester Summer and Nattie Graham and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at First Born Apostolic Faith Church of God, 1221 East 19th Street followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. Conducted by Bishop Climatee Roberts. Interment at Erie Cemetery. Funeralization by House of Law Inc., 2926 Pine Ave., Erie.
