Paul Joseph Klaiber, 61, of Force, Pa, and recently of Pleasant Ridge Manor, Girard, died Thursday following a lengthy illness.
Born Nov. 22, 1951 in DuBois, Pa., he was a son of the late Patricia Klaiber Bauer.
He was married to Caren Cameroni Feb. 9, 1974. She survives.
A graduate of St. Mary's High School Class of 1969 and a lifelong resident of Force, he worked with Powdered Metals Products of St. Mary's for 34 years.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Force and prior to his illness, was a member of the Bennett's Valley Lions Club and an active member of the Bennett's Valley Labor Day Committee.
He is also survived by two children, Ruthann (Mike) Pounds of Erie and Joseph (Kristy) Klaiber of Elmira, N.Y.; three grandchildren; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Friends will be received Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home in Penfield, Pa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday from St. Joseph Catholic Church in Force with the Rev. Fr. Thomas Tyler celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
