LeeAnn Petri Griffiths, 45, of Lake City, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 22, 2014, from heart complications.

She was born December 14, 1968, in Erie, a daughter of Elmer C. Petri Jr. and the late RoseAnne Holden Bebell.

LeeAnn graduated from the Girard High School in 1987. She worked at Pleasant Ridge Manor, as a Nurses Aid, the Depot Restaurant, The All Aboard Dinor, The Girard Dinor, and worked at her home, taking care of children. Most recently, she was employed by her sister at Twinkle Time Day Care, in Girard.

She enjoyed photography, and was known to take and share photos of all the girls at the soccer games for the Yellow Jackets, for many years. LeeAnn was an avid crafter, she also enjoyed decorating cakes and baking cut-out cookies, that she decorated for any occasion. She loved her family deeply and touched many lives in the area.

She was preceded in death by her mother, RoseAnne Holden Bebell.

LeeAnn will be greatly missed by her family, which in addition to her father, includes her husband, SFC. David G. Griffiths, whom she married March 25, 1993, also by her daughters, Chelsea R. Griffiths and Kelsea A. Griffiths of Lake City; her sisters, Colleen L. Vorse (Richard) of Lake City, Tammy L. Hetz (Eric) of Lake City, Brenda L. Petri of Girard, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Edder Funeral Home, Inc., 309 Main St. East, Girard, and are invited to attend services there on Monday, at 10 a.m., with Rev. David L. McIlvried officiating.

Burial will be in the Girard Cemetery.
