Margaret Drespling Keith, 93, of Girard, died unexpectedly on Friday, February 14th, 2014. She was born December 23, 1920 in Medina, Ohio, a daughter of the late Michael and Katie Drespling.
Margaret graduated from New Castle High School in 1938, and later graduated from Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. She received her LPN license from Booth Memorial Hospital in New York City. She was a faithful member of Bethel Assembly of God Church, in Girard. Her greatest joys in life were fishing with her husband Jack, winning a game of Rook and making memories with her family. She was dearly loved by many and will be remembered for her strong faith, for sharing God's love with everyone she met, and for marveling at the miracles she found in her everyday life.
She was preceded in death by two sisters Katie Sashko and Ann Sizer, also three brothers Michael, John, and Martin Drespling, and great-grandchildren Samuel and Gavin Tomlinson.
She is survived by her husband Jack Keith, whom she married June 1, 1946, in Parma, Ohio, and also by three daughters Darleen Hovis of Albion, Karen (Bill) Cressman of Quakertown, Pa., and Cindy (Sam) Scott of Lake City, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday, February 20, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Edder Funeral Home, Inc., 309 Main Street E., Girard, and are invited to attend services at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21, at Bethel Assembly of God Church, at 1414 Lake Street, Girard, PA 16417, with Rev.
