Max Rodax, 60, of Erie, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014 at UPMC Hamot.

He was born in Erie on September 1, 1953, a son of the late John and Mary (Hause) Rodax.

Max served in the U. S. Coast Guard and retired from the Coast Guard after 23 years. He was a former member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his former wife, Sherry Rodax of Union City, Pa.; two daughters, Jodie Fedorko (Brian) of Fort Knox, Ky., and Shelly Rodax (Unsel) of Erie; grandchildren Alexa, Braden, Connor, A.J., Shytasia, Elijah, Kylie and Jayla; brother, Oliver Rodax (Diane) of Hadley, Pa.; niece, Jennifer Rodax; and nephew, David Rodax.

Friends may call at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, LLP., Pine Avenue Branch, 845 East 38th St., on Monday from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.
